Extended Schools

As part of the Extended Schools programme at Thomas Adams School we intend to make sure that the existing provision of services and activities are right to meet the needs of our children, parents/carers and the wider community.

What is the Extended Schools Programme?

An extended school is one that provides a range of services and activities, often beyond the school day, to cater for the needs of pupils, families and the wider community.

Thomas Adams will continue to offer a wide and varied extra-curricular programme offering opportunities for pupils to try new experiences and to extend their learning.

Where Thomas Adams is not able to meet a particular need as part of its extended school provision, it will endeavour to signpost students, parents and carers to the facilities and activities available locally.
