‘I joined Adams College from Lakelands School in Ellesmere and was a bit unsure before I arrived. I’m so pleased I made the choice though, I have made lots of new friends and settled in really well. The lessons and good and staff very approachable’.

‘Lessons and great and I like the ‘free’ study periods. I know exactly where I am in terms of targets and what I have to do to progress further. Most of all I like the personal attention that I receive from my mentor and senior staff at the College’.

‘I came to Adams College from Thomas Adams School straight after completing my GCSEs. Lots of my friends also came from the school too which was helpful, but I have also made some great friends who have come from other schools too. I’m confident that I am going to exceed my targets in all four of my A level subjects’.

‘The mentoring system is really useful as it gives me a chance to chat to a member of staff about how I am getting on academically as well as a chance to discuss other things that are going on’.

‘Adams College is the best!!! The staff are great and always available to help. I am on the student council and have performed in the annual production – twice! The council organise college parties, sporting fixtures and local community events such as the ‘Senior Citizens Christmas Party’.

‘I’m in Yr 13 now and have been accepted at my first choice Uni – I wouldn’t have made it without my mentor as no-one in my family has been to university before and I didn’t have a clue’.

‘I studied at Adams College before reading Geography at Oxford University where I gained a 1st class honours degree. I loved my time at Adams College and would recommend it to anyone. The experiences I encountered while there helped me so much throughout my undergraduate degree course’.

‘I studied Physics, Biology, Chemistry and Geography at Adams College and am now a Harrier jet pilot in the Royal Navy. I had a great time at the College before going to Bristol University prior to joining the Navy – the College prepared me so well for university study and the world beyond’.
